As SHEQ Officer you ensure the quality of the product, safety of people and minimizing the environmental consequences from production. It is really important role for a talented person, who finds it interesting to work with pioneers in sustainable food/feed production. 


As SHEQ Officer you are responsible for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. Within the
Health, Safety & Environment domain, your focus will usually be on performing audits, workplace checks and formulating improvement proposals. Within the Quality domain, the focus will be on Ensuring food/feed safety, HACCP, QMS and legislation compliance. In this role you will be the first point of contact for colleagues regarding SHEQ, as well as facilitating and supporting management in SHEQ effectively in their line of business. You will report to the Head of Operations and other higher management people. One of the most exciting challenges is that we'll start building a new plant soon. This plant will be one of its kind in the world, and the first of many more state of the art plants we will build in future. Our mission has only just began. Key performance objectives

  • Follow-up on actions/items coming from QMS
  • Perform and coordinate audits 
  • Perform RCA of quality issues and SHE items 
  • Follow-up on incident reports
  • Follow up on permit related compliance items
  • Maintain and update BHV
  • Perform safety induction training
  • Coordinate RI&E


Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in health and safety, environment or food technology (or comparable) with at least 2 years of experience
  • MVK should be sufficient
  • Excellent communication skills spoken and written in Dutch and English
  • Experience, preferably gained in food/feed industries, with facilitating SHEQ culture and performance improvement programmed
