The goal is to roll out several production facilities worldwide in the coming years. We make this possible with an engineering team within Protix which is multidisciplinary in nature. The Engineering Team is responsible for the design and build of our new facilities. From kick-off up to installation and startup of the project the team is completely involved in the project. We are ambitious and plan on multiple new facilities in the coming years.
As a member of the Engineering team, you will create the production facilities needed for our new insect production plants opening in the coming years. Together with the rest of the team, you will focus on managing the technical aspects of large-scale projects, such as designing and developing facility layouts. These responsibilities cover all phases of development, from brainstorming and evaluating concepts through troubleshooting and support on the facility floor. This involves creating facility designs as well as the technical responsibility for future facility builds (and maintaining an overview of these technical aspects). In lead (senior) positions, you will manage the budget and timeline of your own projects, and generate appropriate technical documentation (e.g. manuals, drawings, diagrams).
You can make a real difference by streamlining the project execution process, translating the conceptual facility design into manageable work packages, optimally selecting and guiding our subcontractors, and maintaining & guarding the interfaces between the different work packages.
