Internship Insect Rheology

What will you do?
- Join Protix for an internship period of 6 months
- Start somewhere in period July – September 2022
- You will be part of the Asset Development department joining the Engineering & Technology team\
- Work with a unique and innovative product in the market; Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) puree
- Help Protix in understanding the physical behaviour of BSFL puree
- Investigate the effect of process parameters on the rheological behaviour of BSFL puree
- Generate rheological data enabling good equipment design for new greenfield factory and technology optimization in existing factory
- Define and execute your own experimental plan
- Execute experiments mainly at Wageningen University
- Deliver a analytical report explaining the effect of process parameters on the rheological behaviour of BSFL puree
- Present results to multi-disciplinary audience

Requirements
Who are you?
- Master student Food Technology at the Wageningen University;
- Enrolled as a student for the whole duration of the internship (if you are a non-EU citizen then you must be enrolled at a Dutch University);
- Affinity with Rheology;
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- High degree of accuracy, initiative and independency;
- Passionate about insect industry;
