What will be your mission as a Business Development Analyst?
In this role you will have a central role in driving exponential, sustainable and growth for Protix. The Business development (or ‘Growth team’) that you will be part of is the tip of the spear when it comes to finding us the best possible locations to build our next production facilities across the globe. Through your rigorous analyses, your excellent communication skills and your keen business acumen you provide objective input for some of the most fundamental choices our Management Team will be making. As the Growth team is positioned at the heart of the company, you’ll interact daily with other all other business functions such as Finance, Commerce, Operations, Asset Development, Research & Development, Human Resources and Legal, providing you with a unique experience and a steep learning curve.
What will you do?
- Gather, analyze, and present relevant data and information for stage gate reviews, and consequently rank approved opportunities in order of attractiveness
- Maintain and expand a Database that serves as a single repository of essential data gathered regarding potential locations
- Utilize data collected aforementioned Database to conduct rigorous analyses and drive insights that are of business value and relevant to the Growth team and share these insights through interactive dashboards (leveraging various software such as Office, Tableau, etc.)
- Monitor developments in the Insect ingredient landscape and relay to the rest of our organization in a manner that is easy and quick to digest
- Put in place process and structure to increase the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Growth team, and the wider organization
What does your track record look like?
- You have significant experience in analyzing large quantities of data, navigating complex issues in an ambiguous environment, and performing under difficult circumstances when time is short
- You have ample experience within distilling issues down to their core and communicating in a crisp and concise manner to senior management
- You have a proven ability to execute with rigor and demonstrated ‘can do’ mentality
- You have experience with change, project, people and talent management
- You have a strong track record in Business Development and/or Strategy Consulting

Requirements
What do you bring?
- You have a completed MSc / MA or MBA degree
- You bring 3-7 years of experience in Business Development and/or Strategy Consulting
- You will be based in the Netherlands. This can be partly from home, at our office in Dongen and/or at our factory in Bergen op Zoom
- You have strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- You have sound analytical, conceptual thinking skills as well as a tactical approach
- You are result driven, entrepreneurial but goal oriented, ambitious but realistic, proactive, flexible and decisive
- You speak, read and write English fluently
- You are a team player
Nice to haves
- Ideally, you also speak, read and write Dutch
- Ideally, you have knowledge of or have worked in the animal nutrition industry
